Host Institution: University of Puerto Rico – Cayey

Why did you choose NSE to exchange?

I always thought studying [away] would be so expensive, but with NSE I use the same financial aid at WSU. University of Puerto Rico-Cayey offers a specific biology class hard to find anywhere else in the country which will help me apply for the Master’s program of my dreams!

What are you most looking forward to during your exchange?

I look forward to connecting with Caribbean culture that is familiar to my Hispanic background, yet so special. I’m also really excited to expand my network of friends and eat great food.

Do you have any tips for students considering NSE?

You should absolutely give it a try. Studying abroad is so beneficial, and NSE takes away the biggest stressors, so there’s reach out right now and broaden your horizons!
